In the summer of 2016 there was a lot of sport events. and Samsung wanted to introduce a new feature “view”. View is like chroomecast connecting via wifi to cast on your TV screen.
TWCapps was busy with an app that enriches the experiences of the viewers. As an intern I created this application with the help of the two designers.
This app can cast your favorite cyclist’s data, so you as a viewer know whet his ranking is real-time.
Laid Back interaction
Simple and almost no effort
Important with this concept was that the user shouldn’t invest too much attention to the screen. The challenge was to use as less menu’s as possible.
The proces of finding the right interactions took a lot of time during the making of this application.
Data
What do you do when you can't get the data
Unfortunately we never made this application. We were not able to get the data real-time from Tour de France.
We tried to come up with another version with the day old data, but we were not able to convince the client. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson to always check if you can get the data first.
